LOOPING

Frame 13-2.jpg

Brief

Temporary creative installations are visually striking but often short-lived, sometimes lasting only a few months or even a few days. Where do the materials go afterward? Due to challenges like tight timelines and poor communication, users and circular services rarely connect, limiting the potential for reuse. As the Culture and Art industries gradually shift from a linear to a circular economy, how can we accelerate and support this transition?

Contex

Master’s Final Project at Central Saint Martins, exhibited during the June 2022 show. Developed with Spazio META and supported by Maria McLintock, curator at the Design Museum, London.

Concept

Looping links creative professionals in spatial design with circular services, promoting sustainable practices for temporary installations. It guides users to choose the best end-of-life solutions, maximizing material reuse and simplifying sustainable decisions.
