ACQUAZZURA
Between Light and Movement of the Mediterranean Sea

Curatioral Statement
Acquazzurra, meaning “clear water” in Italian, is an immersive exploration of the Mediterranean Sea, delving into the relationship between water, light, and movement. Through paintings inspired by aquatic textures, the exhibition explores blue in all its depth; soothing, fragile, essential. Like Posidonia, the underwater plant vital to marine balance, this blue embodies the clarity and richness of the sea.
Blending fluidity with raw material, the artistic approach integrates recycled elements, echoing the perpetual transformation of matter shaped and carried by water.
Acquazzurra is an invitation to dive into an aquatic landscape that is both real and imaginary. This exhibition celebrates the beauty of nature while raising awareness of the importance of its preservation.
About the exhibition
This exhibition is the result of a year of work, from artistic creation and stylistic research to the organization of the event itself. Through this entrepreneurial project, I have learned a great deal, not only in terms of artistic practice but also in management and event planning.
Hosted at Petit Bruit in Paris, this is my first solo exhibition, making it a particularly meaningful milestone in my artistic journey.
The exhibition features a total of 12 original paintings available for purchase and has welcomed over 200 visitors so far. Additionally, more than 60 art prints have been sold.
Due to its success, the exhibition has been extended from February 25 to March 6.
